Day of Faith in Los Angeles

Day of Faith exhibit at Christ Cathedral
The community of Los Angeles wanted to let you know about a wonderful book exhibit we participated in. The Magnificat Foundation hosted a Day of Faith at the Christ Cathedral (formerly the Crystal Cathedral) in Orange County.

The day consisted of Morning Prayer, talks on various aspects of faith, testimonies, Evening Prayer, and time for meeting the speakers. Fr. Robert Reed of CatholicTV in Boston was the master of ceremonies. Fr. Michael Morris, OP (who wrote the introduction to Facing the Apostle by Sr Armanda), Mrs. Clara Gaymard (the daughter of Servant of God Dr. Jerome Lejeune), and Fr. Peter Cameron, OP (editor-in-chief of the Magnificat) were the speakers.

Sr Mary Thecla participated in the day, and Sr Lupe and Sr Emily Beata staffed the exhibit with three volunteers. The people were so eager for titles on faith, Catechisms, Bibles, and resources for Advent and Christmas. We had to go home halfway through the day to get more books!

It was a beautiful day and we are hoping that this becomes an annual exhibit! Here are a few pictures from the day. Thank you for your prayers---feel us close to you in prayer as we enter this very busy apostolic time!
